I’ve kept the colours generic and furniture is placeholder for now but it’s probably not far off. I’ve added the windows and patio doors and a roof light but in actuality that will be a vaulted and angled ceiling with velux over the table just couldn’t model it. This is in the UK so styling preference may vary to those over the pond. Not keen on oversized American fridges that jut out into the walkway for example, so it’s two integrated fridge freezers. Just personal preference

Please critique my proposed layout

Priorities are an island, good workflow, good storage for food and enough worktop space for appliances for our family of four. There is one meter of clearance around the island.

The extractor is on an external wall. The kitchen side of the island is two 600mm 3x pan draws and a 450mm integrated bin.

Ovens/combi microwave will have slide away doors.

Blind tall cabinet corner on the left, and pull out corner shelving in the low cabinet on the right.

Dishwasher is on the right of the sink.

Two integrated 600mm fridge freezers on the wall on the left with a 600mm half shelving half pullout drawer larder unit on the right.

All cabinets will be taken to the ceiling if possible when fitting.
