DIY myofascial massage on my calf improved my recent flareup more than thousands of dollars of podiatrist and physical therapy appointments did

DIY myofascial massage on my calf improved my recent flareup more than thousands of dollars of podiatrist and physical therapy appointments did

Neither of them checked for a muscle knot in my calf and I only got recommended a foam roller for my legs, which did help a tiny bit for a few months but obviously that doesn't really release knots

I randomly decided to google if muscle knots could induce PF and I found this video which instantly relieved a lot of the pain. like I could literally feel my fascia stretch out as I was massaging

the video only mentions checking your upper calf but most of my knots were closer to my achilles

Why do so many of you say people are nicer to you after transition? Complete opposite for me

I live in one of SF/LA/Seattle/Portland. I look pretty feminine but don't pass close up or pass at all to people who are obviously obsessed with trans women. I'll pass from a moderate distance or close up in a dark bar/club or to older people even without makeup. East Asian

Post transition soooo many (especially) women and men in "civilized" social situations love to give me sly shit that is nowhere near as lowkey as they think. And ofc the occasional explicit hate speech from men in public

Is this cause most of you girls are white? Or /r/mtf is more likely to have really online people who didn't go out much in general/before transition?

People were so friendly to me in the past, and now I get disrespect and much less nice interactions with people

It's gotten to the point where I used to be super social and friendly with strangers and people I meet and now I'm really guarded and act like a bitch to gain respect/fear unless I'm in a queer space
