Does/did the DPRK really have a personality cult?

I don’t think there’s any ‘personality cult’ in the DPRK as of now, but when you look at some old state media articles about Kim Jong Il, the way they describe him is almost supernatural. I wonder why is that? Why were some politicians in the DPRK venerated to such an extreme level to the point that it’s almost spiritual?

Does anyone else suspect that the ACP is using bots to infiltrate this sub?

There has been a recent increase in the amount of anti china & anti Russia posts on here. What happened? Are these ACP bots or just genuinely braindead liberals who think this sub is for them? My last post on here was FILLED with liberals attacking me claiming that Russia is an imperialist country as equally bad as the US that must be completely opposed by leftists & that we shouldn’t support capitalist states simply because they’re anti imperialist (which is ironic because the governments of the DPRK, China & Cuba and other AES states are all allies with Russia and have historically supported bourgeois national liberation movements.) I don’t remember this sub being like this before. People in my replies were casually using words like ‘Campism’ and ‘Dengism’. I wonder what happened.

Why do so many Syrians vehemently oppose Bashar al Assad?

I’ve never witnessed a single Syrian that claims to support Assad’s government. It seems like everyone who lived under him absolutely hates him.

How do we know that materialism is objectively correct?

Isn’t it logically impossible to prove that any philosophical concept is correct, because all of our perception is subjective and comes from our senses. You can’t prove an objective reality based off subjective perception. I hope this makes sense.

Why did the DPRK claim that natural wonders happened after the death of Kim Jong Il?

Surprisingly, this one doesn’t seem like a made up propaganda claim as it comes from an official DPRK government website I assume. I will always support the DPRK but why would the DPRK media claim such occurrence? Is it metaphorical? What explains it?

Liberals exaggerating “antisemitism” is inherently supportive of Zionism

Anti Jewish sentiment DOES exist, but antisemitism doesn’t exist as a form of systemic discrimination. It’s not the same thing as racism & homophobia/transphobia at all. Hate crimes are not the same as being systematically discriminated against. As soon as someone mentions supporting Palestine/Hamas liberals will be like “We only hate Zionists not Jewish people!” Even though the VAST majority of Jewish people are Zionists. Most Jewish people are far right lunatics that support US imperialism and Zionist occupation. Im not saying all of them are but Zionism & rightism are EXTREMELY common in Jewish communities . Israel’s legitimacy is literally dependent on Jewish people’s approval, Jewish people ARE partially to blame for the crimes of Israel. Who do you think makes up the government of Israel after all? People are being slaughtered on a mass scale in Palestine while liberals are more concerned about the false threat of “antisemitism” (AGAIN, im not saying all Jewish people are bad . Im just saying that acting as if ‘antisemitism’ is somehow as bad as Zionism is itself Zionist.)

Is Juche’s analysis of the world flawed?

I wonder what makes Marxism-Leninism superior to Juche/Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. Why are we not adapting the Juche idea? Or am I misunderstanding Juche as a separate philosophy rather than being an adaptation of Marxism-Leninism?

I don’t really find the theory of “deformed workers’ states” to make sense when applied to ML states, but I’m curious how it would apply to countries with a largely nationalized economy such as Russia or Iran? Could Russia/Iran be classified as deformed workers’ states even tho they don’t refer to themselves as socialist?

I’m very curious about their view, how can these “anti revisionist” Maoists rationalize his complete deviation from Marxism & his crimes against humanity? I dont view these people as actual Marxists, most of the time theyre just trying to get attention.
