Still learning and having fun - Aug 15 Yankees at Jays

(2 pictures) I’ve seen many of you use highlighters for the pitching changes, and I really like that - makes it super easy to tally up each pitcher’s stats for the game. I also experimented with using a highlighters to note who got an RBI at the time it happens, and this made the tallying for each batter way easier too.

Still not capturing the complete stats (errors, earned runs) but I don’t actually care, this is only my 2nd scoresheet and it’s all a learning process.

Tried scorekeeping for the first time on Saturday (Cardinals at Jays) and learned a lot

I think next time I might colour-code the RBIs so I can find them more easily. Might be fun to somehow highlight epic plays by the defence as well.

Any favourite tips and tricks you enjoyed when you were a beginner?

Where are we buying bras in person these days? (Not lingerie shops)

Edit 2: thanks to all who suggested Knix, I tried there and literally the first bra I tried on fit brilliantly. I bought two of it.

Since Sears and The Bay closed, I’m at an absolute loss. I tried some bralettes from Marks Work Wearhouse but they’re of limited use and I don’t always want to pull a bra on over my head.

I never thought I’d miss the bra department, but here we are.

Oh and before anyone asks, yes I know my bra size, yes I’m sure, yes I have previously gone to specialty shops and had fittings done, no it was not helpful (there are two $120 bras gathering dust at the bottom of my underwear drawer). I just want to try on a bunch of bras in peace and find something unfussy I can wear under my dress shirts at work.

Edited to add: I’m small-busted and the mall lingerie shops (la vie en rose, la senza, etc.) do not carry my size, which is why I specified “no lingerie shops.”

Multiple library cards, no pre-existing Overdrive account

I know this gets asked fairly regularly here, and I searched for a solution before posting, but I couldn’t find anything addressing the particular problem I have.

I got my Kobo this past Christmas and made a Libby account at the same time. The Libby account is tied to my local library network. I do not, to my knowledge, have an Overdrive account.

This month I was out of province and was able to sign up for a non-resident card in the place I was visiting. I’ve added the new card to Libby and it works great!

The problem, of course, is reading material from the new library on my Kobo. Since I don’t have an Overdrive account, none of the solutions that rely on you having an account and tinkering with the code to get the Kobo to notice it will work. The other troubleshooting guides online say “go to Settings and then Overdrive and sign out of the original card, then you can sign in with the new card.” That isn’t an option on my device! All I have is “remove card.”

So is that what I need to do - REMOVE the local library card, then add the new library card? Will this mess up my reading history on the Kobo (like delete the stats for the books I read from my local library)? I guess I still have the list of books I’ve checked out in Libby and my local library app, so I don’t lose all the stats… I just wanted to check before I do something so final-seeming.
