Tips to remove pizza!

Hello, I’ve have my ooni for a few years now but I don’t get it out that often.
Anyway, I’m happy making pizza, using the oven etc but I’m really struggling taking the pizza out. I’m using a metal peel but I just seem to be pushing the pizza into the back of the oven and into the flames!!

Does anyone have any tips?

Edit; it’s not sticking. I just can’t get it on the peel.

Does every town have a few middle aged men who cycle around all day playing random music really loud,

Or is my town just special?

There are at least three men, all well over 50 who seem to spend all day on push bikes playing random loud music - like German oompah music or ABBA. I have no idea if they work as a team or not.

Does your country have a unique weight or measure still in common use?

In the U.K. we use a mix of metric and imperial but as I understand it the U.K. is the only country that uses stones as a common measure of weight of people. One stone is 14 pounds. It’s not used in official settings, like the doctors but people use it to weigh themselves.

Does your country have a unit that only you use?

The England World Cup team’s football boots being stolen has put me in mind of this Goon Show.

Just wanted to share. It’s about the sabotage of the Hungarian football team by putting dynamite in the toes.

Toys now and then

One of the topics we teach in year one is the introduction to the concept of history through the idea that toys were different in the past.

I thought others might find this book interesting to see. I don’t think it’s going to be very relevant to today’s children.

I’m going away soon and need to take sunscreen (no option to buy at the destination) Am I better off buying to collect at Boots Stansted or buying it directly? Do they scalp you for it airside? I’m cabin luggage only so I’d prefer to buy a big bottle airside.

I need to ultimately get to Blackheath from Stratford on Saturday at about 3.30. I was going to take the DLR to Canary Wharf then change to Lewisham and walk to Blackheath or get the train.

But now when I put the details into the TFL app it says that there are works on the DLR over the bank holiday weekend.

My question is, what would you recommend? I am able bodied and don’t have baggage or babies to think about.
