I had a full body vinyl wrap done recently and it had several areas where there were lines like this that look like spots where they squeegee/scraped the wrap to smooth it out. This includes the hood, rear fenders, and this spot around the license plate. Kind of hard to photograph the extent of it but you can generally see it here.

I pointed them out to the installer and he said they’re normal and will go away with a couple days in the sun. I was skeptical but took his word as the pro. A few days in the sun later, nothing changed.

Took it back and he re-did two of the spots and they still look like this. They do have a one year warranty so I’m thinking I need to go back and insist on it being done so that there are no such lines. But want to see if this is just a reality of the material that I should expect.

I picked up a new-to-me MSP with HW4 last week and just had it wrapped. I’ve always loved similar non-metallic blue options on BMWs and Porsches and thought it would look awesome on this car. I was not disappointed.
