Rejected Flipkart return for Green Soul Jupiter Superb SO I need advice on how posture adjustments and how to make it useful as a 165 cm guy !
Hey everyone,
I’m in a major fix and could really use some advice both regarding a horrible Flipkart return experience and the physical ergonomics of the Green Soul Jupiter Superb (2025 Edition).
The Flipkart Return Issue:
I ordered this chair recently, but it immediately started giving me severe upper back and neck pain. I initiated a return within the 10-day window. However, the assigned "Jeeves" technician delayed his visit for days until the window technically expired. When he finally showed up, he refused the return, claiming "no visible defect," and unethically told me to intentionally break/damage the chair to get it approved. I refused to do that. He closed the ticket as rejected without my consent (he asked for a "sad" otp not saying that it would cancel the return entirely), and now standard Flipkart customer support is completely unresponsive. I am stuck with this chair.
The Posture/Ergonomic Mismatch (I am 165 cm M):
Since I am stuck with this frame for the foreseeable future, I need to know how to adjust it so it stops breaking my body. The dimensions of this high-back chair are fighting my height completely:
1.The Headrest, Even at its lowest position, the rigid frame pushes the back of my skull aggressively forward rather than supporting my neck. The hard plastic edges are digging straight into my skin if I open the head rest.
2.The "lumbar support" is WAYYY TOO High for small and no matter how I adjust i dont get it to lower it enough and it is digging my spine.
Questions for the community:
Has anyone around 165 cm (5'5") managed to successfully adjust a high-back chair without suffering back and neck pain? Are there any better DIY modifications for that harsh upper plastic frame?
How do I adjust the 2D armrests relative to the desk height to alleviate the upper shoulder/neck tension?
The worst thing even at the lowest point of the head rest the gap between the headrest and the top frame of the chair is giving bad neck pain.
Any help would be immensely beneficial for me. Thanks!
