I am trying to decide between 2 oval lab alexandrites for engagement ring. 1st measures at 7.98 L x 6.00 W x 3.366 P (1.5c) and the 2nd measures at 8.5x7.0x5.2 (2.2c). I have LARGE fingers at 9.25. either way, the stone will be set in a low-profile yellow gold bezel with a donut base and raised bridge open gallery basket. I am a 2nd time bride and am not interested in impressing anyone with size of stone, just want to make sure it looks classic and not too big or too small. which size aligns more closely with" Goldylocks just right" size on my very large finger?
