Passionate about social work

I’m a BSW (30 f) student. I have a passion for social work, I LOVE it. I also really like my internship. The issue is, I’m a pharmacy technician and I have a passion for that as well. I got an offer for a really good pharmacy job and I’m wondering if I should drop out and take the job. Due to the economy, job security, and overwhelming course load, it definitely feels like pharmacy tech is the EASIER path. Does anyone have a similar situation? How did you balance the scales? What do you think about the future of social work and the job market ?

Thank you (:

When you get tired, does your whole face hurt?

Ever since I had mono almost 13 years ago, when I get tired my face hurts SO badly. As I try to fight sleep and stay up it hurts worse and worse. A pain behind my eyes and a lump in my throat. I’m assuming it’s swelling lymph nodes. Anyone else ?

Child and family services careers

How often does child and family services hire their social work interns? Is it a likely thing? Is it a hard organization to get into?

I will have a a BSW in the spring and an MSW the following spring but I’m hoping to get a job there BEFORE I graduate even as a receptionist or something. Just to lock me in.

Thoughts?
