Hi everyone, I started Prozac today as it was recommended to me by my therapist and now prescribed to me by my new pscyhiatrist. I have taken SSRIs before (Escitalopram), but that was before I knew I had ROCD or ever received an OCD diagnosis. I've discovered both since I went off Escitalopram, and now am going to try Prozac at the recommendation of my therapist. My ROCD hasn't even been debilitating lately, I just want to get ahead of the flare ups as I have some big changes coming up! (moving in with my partner in September). Will let you know how it all goes! If you guys have any personal Prozac success stories, do tell me. I'm starting off on the lowest dose for now, but I expect to increase it within the coming weeks.
