So I use ableton on my windows desktop with 990s. And then on my macbook air with 770s. Sometimes sony mdr v6s.

And every single time I make a song with the 990s it sounds so crisp and clean while I’m producing but then listening to the song on any other speakers or headphones it sounds so bad, muddy, and overall underwhelming.

Then on the macbook with 770s or sony mdr v6s. They’re all great and sound exactly how I want them to sound.

I have a feeling the 990s are just so dang crisp that everything else sounds bad or the high end bump plus open back gives it the illusion of a good mix?

I think the obvious solution is to just use the 990s casually and stick with the other headphones.

Thoughts?

More of a rant. Thought I'd be part of a community and joined a FB group "DJs helping DJs" and posted asking if there's a reason the banner is ai and that I didn't think it was the right move.

Minutes later the post is removed and got a warning. Needless to say, I left just as quickly as I joined. So unfortunate.
