KEF R3 metas for a large room - enought or look for a floorstanding solution?

Hi fellow KEF enthusiasts,

got a chance too get some R3 metas (used) at a descent price, and since I am moving to another place in the near future this maybe a good time to start a new system from the ground up.

Firstly, the room is a large open space (living, dining, kitchen), and with big floor to ceiling windows. Furnishing will be minimalistic, hard subphases, a rug only in the living area, with some sort of minimal curtains. Not ideal, so maybe some acoustic panels on the TV wall, maybe some on the wall opposing the main glass area, but that’s about it. I know I will not get a perfect result, but good enough is fine, since aesthetics is prioritized over sound precision here.

Are the R3 metas good enough for a space like this or do I need to look at some more powerful floor standers in that price range?

The idea is to get a par of R3m's, then a single (maybe dual) sub, and lastly some in ceiling rears + a center channel. So basically 2.0 to 2.2 to a 5.2 system. Stereo listening is a priority (70%) and movies come in 2nd (30%).

The layout is attached. Th measurement is metric fyi.
