Thread for small businesses that have been effected my the power outages

I want to share small businesses that were effected by the power outages this week to make sure we drum up extra support for them. It should be of First Energy and CPP to help them but I’m sure they are useless. And insurance can take forever.

I have a small list I noticed from social media but I know I’m definitely missing places

Rood Food and Pie
Gingham Market
Brewella’s
Dahlia Coffee
Heart of Gold
Proof Public House
Cleveland Bagel Company
Lakewood Garden Center

Who is else is there? Thanks!

What should I watch next?!

I just finished Downton Abby, including the films. I am about to finish the last season of Grantchester.

I am caught up on Call The Midwife

Previous shows I enjoy were Victoria, The Crown, Anne with an E

I’ve watched 2 seasons of Bridgeton and the Queen Charlotte series. I actually really liked the Queen Charlotte series but I’m pretty over Bridgeton. I can’t quite put my finger on what I didn’t like about it, possibly the pacing.

I did not like Outlander, I love the concept but I really can’t handle some of the brutal scenes.

I also really enjoyed Derry Girls if that counts, it’s hilarious

So with all that in mind, any good suggestions for my next show? I have Netflix, PBS passport and HBOmax.

I think I really enjoy how almost corny and over the top dramatic Downton Abby, Grantchester and Call the Midwife can be without pushing into traumatic. I also enjoyed that Victoria and The Crown were dramatization of real historical well known figures so that would be a good aspect of a show also.

Thanks everyone :)

Wedding Venues that don’t have a preferred caterer/you can bring your own choice of caterer… that won’t break the bank

As the title says. I’ve been searching Cleveland and Cleveland area (with in 20 miles) wedding venues high and low, and if anyone is familiar they seem to all have the same 4 preferred caterers. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that but I’d like the option to bring in someone who does more than “traditional” wedding food.

I’ve searched The Knot and Google for both wedding venues/ party centers. A combination of maybe I am not looking in the right places or maybe it’s just so overwhelming….

So I am turning to the lovely people of Reddit to see if they have recommendations on venues they have used or friends have used that let them bring in their choice of caterer that won’t leave us bankrupt. Wedding will be in mid to late 2027 or even 2028.

Thank you :)

Edit: venue for 150-200 people… that’s important to note lol
