I have an odd situation where for reason out of my control I am no longer able to stay there, had to drop my job search. I’m working on getting my name off the lease for the apartment I had to leave. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to be here anymore and would have to go back to stupid Iowa. However I absolutely love it here in Eau Claire and I’ve decided I don’t want to leave. What does someone do to get a place and job starting over? I don’t want to give up on being here

Hey everyone, I moved up here at the start of August. Menards DC was supposed to be my job but things didn’t end up working out. I’ve been applying to jobs since I first moved up here and haven’t heard anything back at all. I have a pretty good resume I think, but for some reason I’m not catching interest from anyone. Mostly applied through indeed but I’ve also applied directly on some company websites. I’ve applied to places from Walmart to Nestle and premium waters. I’m trying to get around $20 at least to afford the place my partner and I moved into. I feel terrible they are shouldering the burden of everything and I really want to get up and out there working again myself. Any help or direction towards something would be super appreciated!

Hello there, my partner and I are currently having some trouble finding a rental. We went through YMB and they rented two places out on us while in the process of getting approved so we are looking elsewhere. Need to find a place by August 1st. We have 1 cat and are hoping to get at least a 2 bedroom place, definitely would love to find a house or duplex before an apartment if possible. If anyone knows of any private landlords that would be a major plus, any help is appreciated!
