I recently moved. Do not know where I'm going to move "to" yet. Right now am driving across the country to the west coast, to stay with a family member temporarily. Currently in the midwest. I was hit in the early morning yesterday while parked. My car is badly damaged, either totaled or will require extensive repairs. I had to get a hotel while dealing with this.

The other driver was at fault and has State Farm. I'm waiting for the claim to be processed. In the meantime, wondering if anyone has experience with something similar. Does State Farm pay for a hotel while your car is being repaired if you are traveling?
