Hey there, I uploaded a few repair or upgrade parts for 86s to Cults for anyone with a 3D printer :)

Latest one is a simple exchange part for the often failing Levin Headlight adjusters.

Feel free to have a look! :) Also, if you don't have a printer just hit me up I can send some stuff around our world ball too.

Passed Japanese Inspection

Finally free for another two years 🙌🏼

Went to the inspection center myself instead of having a shop do it and failed the first time xd
I was afraid of what they would say about my custom headlights so I switched to the OEM ones, turns out I failed because one of them was too dark, passed later with my custom lights no problem :D

Funny info: in Japan it’s mandatory to have a shift pattern displayed somewhere in the car. A hand written pattern with gold pen on the dash seems to work too when your shifter doesn’t have one and you forget to bring your sticker lol.

Also: complete bashed in frame rails seem to be complete irrelevant which was convenient.

I might be obsessed with Building Headlights

I got CAD and a 3D printer so I took a few tries to build headlights I like :D

A little "Before/After" post

It has been a little bit over two years with the Corolla now and it's been great fun. Stuff still keeps breaking but I also have many more cool projects that I want to realize.

I think next will be an oldschool rear wing after another wheel bearing overhaul lol

Third Wheel Bearing dead

Eyo, my car came with custom coilovers and when I bought it off a field I replaced all front wheel bearings.

After a while the front right bearing broke, it had the outer bearing race spin in the hub.

Bought a new hub, put in new aftermarket made in Japan bearings and now after another year, the wheel has play again and the bearing is very notchy, so completely cooked.

This all happened in a two year life span so I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I packed the bearings properly, torqued them down like they are supposed to but somehow it’s not working. Is the spindle cooked? It doesn’t really have any visible wear so I don’t know. They are old OEM spindles since they are supposed to be „superior“ to aftermarket spindles here in Japan which tend to break apparently from what I’ve been told. (That’s why I decided to rebuild my shocks instead of getting new ones + I’m on a budget)

I think I’ll try to put in another set of bearings and seal just because it’s cheap but does anyone have any advice on what I could be doing wrong? Are aftermarket spindles the way to go or are just the bearings bad quality? I didn’t think so because the left side bearing is holding up perfectly, it’s just that right side :(

Thanks everyone!

Reverting to old file versions function disappeared

Heyo, for a while I thought I am just halucinating, but ever since the most recent bigger update, which also brought a few design changes, i cannot open older versions of files anymore.

The V"xxx" button in the browser on the left is now only a little arrow and if I open it, the table is missing the "Versions" coloumn.

I tried using the repair tool and even reinstalling Fusion completely but no sucess.

Did this function change or how can I revert a file to a previous save point now? Any help is apprechiated!

Edit: Trying to open older versions from the online project also just gives me the most recent version.
