What's the nicest thing a complete stranger has ever done for you in the UK?

Doesn't have to be anything profound, just one that's stuck with you over the years.

What's the most unintentionally British sentence you've ever overheard?

Just something you overheard that made you think, "Yep, that's about as British as it gets."

We hear a lot about what's getting worse in the UK, but what's something that's genuinely improved recently?

Feels like there's plenty of negativity around, so I'm curious what people think has actually got better. Cheers!

Anyone else remember using Ask Jeeves, or am I just getting properly ancient?

Was just thinking about the dial-up days and getting yelled at by my mum to get off the phone. Anyone else use to type full sentences to that cartoon butler for their homework, or what was your go-to back then?
