Dark spots in concrete after ripping up tile, and house smells a bit

Can mold grow on concrete under tile if the tile wasn’t set correctly? It looks like the tile was glued or they used a thin layer of thinset. 1200 sqft of tile ripped up in half a day. Now the house smells kinda damp and swampish but they didn’t plug p traps in the house. Thoughts?
