[Discussion] Trying to make sense of the GL Corps chain of command.

I enjoy all the new GL fans so this is a probably simple way of explaining the chain of command? This is a very, very light summary.

The Guardians are obviously on top.

Salaak is the clarissi, he is their representative and strategist, he handles everything while they deal with the more important stuff. He tells who to go where, in major situations he directs everyone. He is the boss beneath the bosses. (See Alpha lanterns arc)

Mogo is the champion of the green lanterns and is only brought out when absolutely necessary and serves as a therapist for the corps and guides new rings, Mogo also serves as a secondary base for the corps. Salaak can give Mogo orders as fitting of his position but Mogo knows things that Salaak doesn't, Mogo is given orders directly from the Guardians and when such orders are enacted then no one is privy to them and Mogo doesn't have to indulge Salaak. (See Blackest Night arc)

The Corpse is harder to place but given that they're an elite secret force I feel like Salaak knows of them, It's said that few lanterns know of them and I'm assuming it's Salaak, probably the alpha lanterns, and Mogo but it's never really stated who knows of them.

Honor Guard is pretty much what it sounds like, they can directly speak to the guardians (still have to go through Salaak), they hold a position higher than regular lanterns, they can assign missions, lead them, give commands, etc.

Alpha Lanterns report directly to the guardians and were created to police the lanterns, they believed that they have authority to do whatever they can to ensure their mission but Salaak kindly reminded them that HE is above them, and He gets final say and he will not tolerate them arresting lanterns while Oa is actively under attack. King shit.

Kilowog/Drill Sergeant I put him specifically there just cause he's pretty much THE drill sergeant so he shares that slot, Higher position than regular corps members and high enough to give orders but not high enough to command everyone (unless for some reason Salaak can't)

You then have the corps members, the major force.

Spent like 30 minutes trying to get them to move

I wanted to mix up Salaks bedding and get some of the water spots off and bro had me sitting there for almost an hour trying to get them to move, I blasted them in the face with water and they just started drinking it and cleaning themselves, I was scraping at the ventilation and they just lifted their legs, I tried shoving them and they just held onto the snake hook, like bro MOVE. This why you dusty.

Characters/Plotpoints you would like to see in Lanterns?

^mogo

Lyssa Drake would be so fun to see, I think having Ch'p or B'dg would also be very important (to me), Rot Lop Fan, Kryb and Flayt are also important (to me) to see on screen. I was gonna say Salaak but I feel like we're gonna see him or hear him be referenced at one point.

Of course this is hypothetical, I don't think we'll see anyone outside of the "main lanterns" but one can dream.

Knights can't have children? (MK 2022 Annual 1. Jedd MacKay, Federico Sabbatini)

I was randomly reading MK comics and came across this panel in the 2021 annual I'm curious as to when or why this is a thing? The moon has associated with childbirth and women plenty of times, I thought that maybe a child would be a distraction but I feel like Khonshu would have liked having easy access to a potential fist or motivation for his fists, it seems odd to me male knight wise, a female knight I understand since they would be unable to to perform their duties for a solid 10-11 months. Is this just one of those plot devices?
