We are a family of 4 on the east coast of Canada. We are considering selling our house and buying a trailer to live in, but my biggest hesitation is how do they hold up to winters? Solar panels arent very effective here in the winter so im worried we will spend a crazy amount on power trying to keep warm.

Teaching my almost 8yr old how to knit, I gave her a pair of circulars to use, I know it takes time to learn the fine motor skills involved, but im wondering if a pair of straight needles are easier to learn on?
Im hoping ill get to a point where its heavy enough that it won't curl so bad... and im REALLY hoping its won't be this curly after blocking!
