My overall experience with this PSU is... very bad, I don't see how this PSU gets an A+ in Cybenetics when it comes to silence.. was it e deaf person who made the test?!
Coil whine, and loud.
Fan noice, the RMP ramps up real good, not a pleasant sound.. 0 to 2500RPM in one second.. each 5 min..
Hot and smelly electronic.. my throat hurts because of it..
Honestly, my old Corsair 750W bronze from 2017'ish is better. (I used that one while my Phantecs was on warranty errand.
My tip of the day, do not buy PSU from this tier and brand.
And this is a trade in PSU I got after my earlier 1200W Platinum from Phantec's had massive coild whine, I mean..wow.. that PSU could scream like some one was about to die as soon my PC came to load..
Is this something new with the new modern and smaller ATX PSU's? Like Quality fail from China? I heard European gets the Chinese crap in their components.
