went to my first card show!🩷

It was a smaller local show, and I went in with a hard budget of $160. As a newer collector, I was focused on cheaper cards that I love 🩷
(I collect certain artists and like to create themed spreads in my binder!)

Here’s what I got! I spent $140 overall, as unfortunately I had someone steal a $20 bill from my wallet. Might not mean much to some people (as all around me were people making $5k + deals, I felt embarrassed😭) but as a person on very limited means, it stung a bit!

It was very intimidating and overwhelming but I had a great time overall :) There were so many lovely people and vendors as well.

Regardless, I’m super happy with my finds and hope I can expand my findings in the future :)) Before now my collection has been exclusively bulk, so having some bigger art is so exciting.

My favorite is the Gothita! It was a splurge for me (only a $21 card but again a lot to me, on a hobby) but I love her so much🥹🖤

first decoden attempt :)

I’ve wanted to try decoden for years now, and I’ve always loved the aesthetics of things! This was definitely a bit messy and I have no experience piping stuff, so definitely will need to practice

I’d love some tips, constructive criticism, etc!
One question I did have; is there a way I can practice piping without wasting product? For example, with something like lotion, etc that can be reused or not wasted?

Thanks for looking everyone 🩷I appreciate this community :))

Split payment + credit score?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question!
But I’m thinking of ordering from Rift after doing a bit of research, and I want to get the 3 month program which is $479. I’m hoping to do a split payment, though the only options are Klarna, Affirm, Afterpay, etc.
I’ve never used any of these services before, and while I will have the funds, I’m more comfortable splitting my payment monthly for a 3 month dose.

For anyone that’s used these services, do they affect your credit score? If you have any insight on which is best for monthly with no interest, and won’t do a hard check or anything to affect my score (assuming on time payment), please let me know!

I recently moved states and all the things that came with that lowered my score a bit (despite not being late on anything 😭) so I’m really hesitant to use these services. TY!!
