I’ve bought 3 different air purifiers for my bedroom, and all of them have given off a chemical smell that has either given me a headache or flared my asthma. I’ve even had two running on high outside for a good chunk of the day and nothing changed. I never experienced this in the past.

After research, I understand it is the filter giving off the smell, so this is more of a rant. It’s annoying that the thing that is supposed to purify the air is making it worse. 🙃 has anyone else experienced this? What brands do you like?
