When leaving the bridge control room: approach camp you can see the Nue Malifact waiting on you. Seems like it should certainly be a fight but the moment I get into combat range he turns and flees. Thought it was scripted until I realized I had new abilities that were never announced. Upon googling said abilities I realized that yes, that was certainly supposed to be a fight that the game just decided to skip. This is also right after having the headless swordsman bug.
