Staying at Sandals Ochi next week and looking at excursions. Some of them the tickets on the excursion websites are way cheaper than booking through Sandals. But we would need a taxi to get there. How do we book one? I’ve heard the front desk can book it for us but is that an extra fee? About how much would a taxi be for like a 10 minute ride? Do they charge per person?

ETA: Ganja?? My husband likes to light up. Can we do that at the resort? Where can we get the supplies?

My husband and I got married October 2025 and are finally having our Honeymoon at Sandals Ochi July 2026. My husband has never been out of the US and both of us have never been to an all inclusive. We are staying 7 nights on the hillside and added the VIP transportation package (club mobay) to and from the resort. Here are my big questions:

1. All inclusive food: not going to lie, i am so excited to eat here! But the portions look small (to be expected). Recs for staying full? Is there a limit to how much food you can get?
2. All inclusive drinks: not like we’re trying to go on a bender, but we definitely want to let a little loose a couple of nights. I’ve heard the drinks are watered down. Is there a limit to what you can order?
3. Excursions/Beaches: there are lots of excursions that look interesting, but i think we really just want to go to the beach. Are we able to go to beaches off resort? Or any places off resort without booking an excursion? Any recs welcome!
