Hornet(Hollow Knight: Silksong) VS Gerson Boom(DELTARUNE: CH4)

Both are NOT bloodlusted, but both fight to the fullest. This isn't death battle.

Gerson's victory condition: Hornet is reduced to a critical state (left with only one mask).

Hornet's victory condition: Land at least one solid hit on Gerson.

What are the chances of Hornet winning on her first attempt?

"ISV Dragonfly" from AVATAR vs "Hail Mary" from movie version of "Project Hail Mary"

Both ships have a maximum crew complement and ample life support. The tanks are fully stocked with the required fuel, but refueling is prohibited.

  • Round 1: Flight from Sol to Alpha Centauri and back. Whoever gets there first wins.
  • Round 2: Comfortable life on board for a long time. The longer the crew goes crazy, the better.
  • Round 3: Direct combat. Objective: Destroy the other ship by any means necessary. Orbiting a solitary star with no planets. They are in a circular orbit at a distance of one astronomical unit from the star. They are on opposite sides of the orbit. Initially, they share the same coordinates and velocity parameters.

Different Speed of Light

This image made me think that the speed of light in the Invincible universe is MUCH higher than in ours. I considered some points that don't fit with our physics and realized something.

Let's take it one step at a time: Omni-Man reached the Traxan planet in less than a year of Earth time. With our physics, he would have gotten there in about the same amount of time, but due to the effects of special relativity, it would have taken him many millennia relative to Earth. But in this universe, the speed of light is much higher, making relativistic effects much weaker. This also explains the existence of spacefaring nations: accelerating at 1000 m/s^(2) doesn't require much intelligence, especially with gravity generators that neutralize the acceleration effect, lest everyone inside be crushed to pulp.

This could also be a partial reason for the emergence of incredibly powerful beings. With the increased speed of light, mass begins to contain more Energy, meaning biological organisms can obtain more energy(According to the great equation: E = mc^(2)). Some abuse this system, such as the Allen, the Viltrumites, the Battle Beast, and others. Other races, however, have much lower energy efficiency than our world, as evolution is lazy and will use minimal energy to survive.

What are your thoughts about this?
