What do you think should change?(DISCUSSION)

So I've been thinking alot about this and wanted to invite tona discussion.

Rates

My take is this:

If some form of accessible/recurring/purchasable 2x exp cards, then i think the rates should be 1x

If no form of available 2x cards, I think the rates should be 2x.

1x rates back in the day was BRUTAL, but i think of we are closing in on available 4x rates too easily the pacing will be too quick. I do firmly believe Maplestory needs to restrain level progression to create a hierarchy, its not a game design to have the majority of the player base lvl 120+.

Remove exp loss on death.

monetization

•Remove or change the nature of 2x exp cards so it for example only counts time while online.

Stats & Equipment

•remove hp washing, just replace with whatever system, or none.

•Keep possibility for no secondary stat builds (dexless, str-less, lukless) because its culture obviously but make intended builds stronger. I.E let people play the game as it was intended and enjoy armor and weapon progression, just balance the standard equips vs the maple weapons etc, its not that complex.

Class balance

I'm not too well versed in all classes here but I'm solid om a few points:

•Nerf mage full map attacks (no explanation needed)

•Nerf Bishops in general (I'm not set on if HS should be removed, it might be necessary to get priests into party play which might me necessary to level up but that could be fixed by just making them stronger for solo leveling)

•Nerf NLs (Damage nerf would probably be enough, let them keep alchemist, meso up etc etc)

•FIX Dark Knight (they are literally just shit. Either keep the dark Knight theme, in which case remove berserk and just give them a watered down version of dark impale and voila, dark Knight fixed) OR rework the 4th job entirely because dk to Drk simply feels bad

•Buff Paladin and Xbow?

•Bandits?
