Are Futaba’s explanations supposed to make sense?

I’ll preface this by saying I’ve only just finished the Laplace Demon Time Loop in S1 so don’t spoil if it’s elaborated later, but I’m wondering how seriously are we supposed to take Futaba’s rationalizations of Adolescence syndrome. I study physics myself in College and even without that you can see she clearly doesn’t actually understand the Schrodinger’s Cat experiment and misinterpreted its principles.

I just watched Monogatari and Kokoro Connect recently, where each “incident” or “apparition” was more of a magical phenomenon tied to whatever the character was going through in their head causing related things to manifest, so I assumed this was a similar case. But then Futaba’s theory about the Laplace Demon being a form of future sight was confirmed completely correct and they treat her nonsensical half-assed science explanation as if she was some genius.

So is it a case where it is indeed more explicitly supernatural occurrences that Futaba is pretending to understand, a broken clock is right twice a day kind of thing? Or am I supposed to genuinely just go along with the silly “physics” explanations she provides and just assume they make sense in universe? This series’ character writing is extremely good so far so I’m just hoping this has something deeper to it rather than being a way to add some sci-fi flavor to the author’s take on the metaphor manifestation trope.

When to switch from Anime to Manga?

I’m watching the anime enjoying a lot on like episode 5 right now but I remember people saying the anime has a really bad anime original ending since it ended only half through the manga

So on what episode should I stop watching after and then what’s the corresponding manga chapter to pick it up from (or is it worth rereading from start if there’s missing content)
