Transitioning to Produodopa

I have been told by the nurses managing my transition that moving from Oral to the pump is a 10-week process and can involve some serious OFF periods. I’m on day 2 and had worst OFF ever at the end of Day 1 that I had to take tablets to recover (total loss of energy, body wide tremors, cramping/seizing of legs, left foot curling). Nurse said that it’s part of the process and that I need to push through it. What experiences have other people had? Any tips? All help, suggestions appreciated.

My wife has indicated that she is unhappy (as was I) and wants to separate. We had a follow-up chat where nothing was really agreed only that she would keep an open mind and she would come back to me. That was weeks ago. I don’t know which way this will go. Assuming the worst, what preparation or protections should i be doing now so that I cannot get caught out should she spontaneously give her verdict?

Update: there are many factors that have made us unhappy. Some are me and I accept and trying to fix, but there are many others (both internal & external) but the root of it all is us not minding the relationship once kids were born. Me and my wife never fight, never have. Walk into my house today and you notice nothing. I believe that refocus on us over time can mend this but I feel she is so overwhelmed by everything that she can’t see the wood from the trees.
