I was just downtown for dinner and was walking back to my car and someone in a large black SUV turned from Lexington onto Aston and went up on the curb in front of the wine bar and took down an entire tree with their vehicle and then gunned it up to Biltmore and turned up towards the Art Museum. I really hope he did not mow down a bunch of people and that everyone is safe. There were a lot of people out because the weather is so beautiful. Hopefully someone had cameras or was able to get a tag. I don’t understand how the car was drivable after snapping the tree in half.

There is a man walking up and down Long Shoals Road in red shorts with a brown puffer coat and a cat draped across his shoulder. He keeps blocking traffic. Please be on the lookout and don’t hit him and the cat! (I called the sheriff to report it because I’m worried about them getting hit.)
