Am I the HDFC God's favorite child? 🛐 Just got an organic Limit Enhancement on a SECURED Millennia card!
I think I just witnessed a miracle.
About 1.5 years ago, I opened a ₹1.5L FD with HDFC to get a secured Millennia credit card. Naturally, they gave me the standard 90% limit, which came out to ₹135k.
As far as I knew, the absolute rule with HDFC secured cards is that your limit is locked forever unless you add more money to the FD or close the card entirely.
But today, my phone blew up with an email, SMS, and WhatsApp message from HDFC offering me a Credit Limit Enhancement to ₹162k.
No extra FD requested, no income proof asked for. Just a straight-up offer out of nowhere.
Has anyone else ever had HDFC upgrade a secured card like this, or did a system glitch just work in my favor?
