Gaining Weight on Zepbound

Hi everyone! So I am about 6 weeks into my GLP journey (2.5) dose, and I have gained 10 pounds. I’m really shocked. The first week I felt it and dropped 10 pounds, and then after that initial week it’s honestly worn off, never had side effects or anything. I’m so upset, I have my check up with my doctor tomorrow and of course I am anxious. I am morbidly obese, and I know I will need a higher dose - but I am feeling really discouraged.

Any advice? Words of encouragement? Or experiences with this? Everytime I’ve told my friends who are on it they’ve acted appalled I’ve gained weight, so that makes it worse. I’m trying to eat more veggies, I’m trying to walk more, and I’m trying to get better sleep habits(the hardest thing).

Going on Zepbound

Hi people! I hope this is the right place to put this. But I just wanted some advice, encouragement, and everything in between. I’m 25, morbidly obese, with pcos. My symptoms and more have gotten worse with age. My weight and my general life has gotten unmanageable, and I’ve finally found a doctor that listens to me (big win). With that being said, I’m starting Zepbound. I’m already on a small dose of spirlactone and birth control. Nothing else thought (no daily vitamins etc). I really want this to be a moment in my life that changes me, not just the weight, but also my pcos, and my general wellbeing.

With allll this being said, does anyone have any advice, kind words, or hazards. Whether it’s medicine experience, vitamins I should take, diets or dieticians to follow, seriously anything. I’m very nervous and I’m scared to talk about it with friends so just look for some support here.

Thank you all. 🤍
