How much did I nail the genre?

Hello, I am presenting my latest work of art. GUTSMAN.

The closer track is titled "Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue"

https://open.spotify.com/track/6Ytqy7CcF4gsoF8Cao94wp?si=f6bc33f2cf4e4ee5

The rest of the album drifts from the genre, but I want to know you guys' opinion on this track since it's more so in the same lane as slowcore.

Lyrics:

And they say I can't fall back

I know I'm torn apart

The pieces get washed away

Along with dirt

Just pour some bleach

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Money is green

And loves turns to hate

Yo no se cual es la razon

De obtener otro enemigo

Sabiendo que el amor

Ha sufrido el mas grande

Genocidio en la actualidad

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Money is green

And loves turns to hate

Yo no se cual es la razon

De obtener otro enemigo

Sabiendo que el amor

Ha sufrido el mas grande

Genocidio en la actualidad.

Looking for musicians to add to my playlist who fit into that uncanny territory vibe. preferably Experimental hip-hop, Lo-fi / degraded trap, Cloud rap (but darker, less dreamy, more uncanny), Slowcore / ambient rap hybrids

I am not looking for artists who try to be “clean” or “playlist friendly.”
I am looking for quite the opposite:

  • memorable
  • polarizing (good for identity)
  • algorithmically niche (which can help you find your audience faster)

I wasn't too sure what style to call this beat. It isn't traditional trap and I also don't think it sounds like Hyperpop, rage, or new modern sounds. I was genuinely experimenting and finally I bounced the whole track on cassette tape to give it that analog feel. sure I got a few unpleasant frequencies at the beginning that probably would have not been there had I bounced the tape different times until I got it right but I didn't want to overthink this.

I will be adding new artists and new songs to my playlist on Spotify. currently it's 40 songs. Over 25 different musicians and 8 saves. I will choose the first ones to comment but NO AI generated music (that's non negotiable) I do not like AI generated album covers as well but I can give it a pass if the music is good or at least human. Preferably underground rap, alternative hiphop, abstract music.

You will be added to the top 20 btw that means you will be featured but if you are added you need to save the playlist and pin it in your profile. I will use an honesty trust system for now but I don't want to add more people to the playlist unless they are serious or at least committed.

I was sitting at 28 new listeners last month. Unfortunately I went all the way down to 5 monthly listeners this past week on Spotify and I am trying to get back before I drop some music in the following days, but I need some traction. Could you spare a play? ;)

https://open.spotify.com/track/34tjzNvgcsSfcLSkuj2Ko2?si=e14a5c34d3e34c8f this is my best song, it's a lofi chill abstract indie track. it's very inspired by Mac DeMarco's early work but with a darker and more atmospheric edge.

If you are more into cloud rap I also made this experimental trap song https://open.spotify.com/track/7rceeF98J9lLks4tCLBBU7?si=64f88ce7e01c4e3f

Listen to my track, save it and I will do so as well. I will even follow back you on Spotify if you follow me.
