Took the Aircross X on its first proper road trip this weekend — Bangalore (RR Nagar) ↔ Sakleshpur, ~550 km round trip.
4 adults on board, boot almost packed to capacity, with about 20% city and 80% highway driving. Highway speeds were mostly 90–110 km/h, touching 120 km/h on a few open stretches.
Ended up with ~15 km/L, which I’m quite happy with considering the load and terrain. The 1.2 turbo is an absolute gem—overtakes were effortless, and the torque is always there when you need it. The car felt planted and confidence-inspiring throughout, and even the 15 km of ghat roads were handled with ease.
Overall, thoroughly impressed with the first long drive. Looking forward to clocking many more miles with this French beauty!

Finally pulled the trigger and booked the Citroën Aircross X 5-seater Automatic (top-end variant)!

Booked it through Akira Automobiles in Electronic City, Bangalore. The dealership experience has been smooth so far, and delivery has been promised within 10 days. They also offer service pickup and drop, which was reassuring given the common concerns around Citroën’s service network.

Before deciding, I test drove quite a few vehicles in this segment. While some offered more features on paper, none managed to combine ride quality, driving comfort, cabin space, and overall value-for-money the way the Aircross did.

The airy cabin, comfortable suspension, practical space, and effortless turbo-petrol automatic eventually won me over. For my usage, it simply felt like the most complete package.
