Frustrated with having to approve every and I mean every transaction
I’m at a point where I am frustrated. I can’t reliably use my Sofi account for anything. Can’t use it for uber family , can’t use it for any automated billing , can’t use it for cases when I am not with my cell phone because every and I mean EVERY transaction is flagged for fraud. Even if I just used the card at the same merchant a few hours ago. I’ve come to the conclusion that their fraud detection is dependent on me having my cellphone. I have not experienced this with any other bank. My kid has remained stranded dead at night because it’s the default card on my uber family account and of course Sofi messaged me to validate the transaction while I am in bed. Essentially what’s the point of having a bank card where I can’t have confidence that I will be able to use my card when I need to. Essentially if my cellphone is dead or i dont have access to internet then their customer served fraud detection fails and my card is blocked.
