What to eat post AP attack

I had my gallstone AP attack just over 3 months ago and still dealing with some pain daily. I have been eating pretty well but might have been delaying my healing by eating some things I didn’t realise would cause issues like honey, oysters, and some other “health foods” I was also told just low fat for my gallbladder surgery and that was it so after leaving the hospital I did eat some red meat, raw foods, apple cider vinegar and things I probably shouldn’t have straight away. I’m trying to dial my diet right down to chicken soup, mashed potatoes and herbal tea maybe some almond milk? What was everyone eating especially those who had a longer recovery? I am on creon from low elastase test and my CT and MRCP show nothing. I feel like my pancreas is still inflamed. I did not have any necrosis or anything.

Elastase from 76 to 144 in 2 months

Has anyone had low elastase and enzymes recovered over a period of time from an acute attack? The fact that my numbers have gone up is encouraging and I am taking all the small wins right now. My attack was 3 months ago and I still have some pancreas pain with ct and mrcp normal I am just clinging to the hope my pancreas is still in a healing phase.

MRCP update

I have posted previously about still experiencing pancreatic pain 3 months after my gallstone acute pancreatitis episode with gallbladder removal and am just sharing my results from my recent MRCP. I have a phone appointment with my GI on Monday next week, he also ordered a bunch of tests and is re testing my elastase to make sure I am definitely needing the creon I am on (my level was 76). He also wants to do an endoscopy. Any advice or experiences should I just be patient with the pain? I am still getting pain and very limited on foods, eating chicken soup with potato and zucchini, turkey breast, smoothies with just fruit, coconut water and collagen powder and bananas, apple juice, and stewed fruit.

Posted a few weeks ago and still wanting to find some more people who have experienced this?

Had gallstone acute pancreatitis 11 weeks ago (my first attack for both pancreas and gallbladder) and gallbladder removed 10 weeks ago. Still feeling pancreatic pain, have had a CT (all normal) and booked for an MRCP next week. Is it common to still be healing from an acute attack this far out? Scared it’s going chronic 😞. If it took you awhile to heal what was your pain like? Mine comes and goes all during the day some days are better than others it is just like a dull ache and doesn’t intensify much but does move around a bit. I stick to a very low fat plain diet for now.

Also have been diagnosed with EPI and on creon.
