If the stonehearts are not emanators, why did asat pramad compare Pearl to Evanescia and Yao guang?
When talking to SW99 about the emanators in planarcadia, Asat says that the emanators she is referring to are:
Evanescia (branch form a tree)
Yao guang (a warlord)
Pearl (a tenth of a pebble)
He kinda of implies that they are all the same to him and not really a threat.
The thing is: it has been established that the 10 stonehearts are not emanators and the real emanator in Diamond who shared a bit of his power with each one of the stonehearts.
In the same way the community seems to be very united in saying that both Yao guang and evanescia are confirmed emanators.
So why is pearl included in this conversation in the first place if everybody know that she is not an emanator?
My takeaway from this is: maybe pearl could be considered an emanator because she wields the power of one, even if only a fraction. But that would imply that both Blade (that has a part of shuhu’s power), Ashveil (the has the power of oroboros or an emanator of voracity in his arm) and all the other stonehearts could also be considered emanators which doesnt seem to be very accepted by the community at all.
The other possibility is that Evanescia and Yao guang could be in a situation similar to pearl, in a sense that they aren’t real emanators but could use part of the power of one. This also doesn’t seem to be accepted as the community is pretty much united in that both Evanescia and Yao Guang are confirmed emanators.
This line from Asat is also pretty strange because he doesn’t mention the other emanators that are in planarcadia like SW99 herself and March 7th. So maybe he was pointing out only “weak” emanator or “incomplete” emanators? I honestly don’t get it.
