Hey guys, in an incoming freshman. I couldn’t attend the new student orientation because i am getting treated for my thyroid cancer. I emailed to IU housing and they said that they will send me the housing assignment by the end of this month. Unfortunately, i still didn’t get any housing assignments nor a roommate. I really wanna get wilkie and i even applied back in april so i would get priority. What do i do? Is this normal? Im seeing multiple people that got their housing assignments except me.

I need advice because I feel stuck between manifestation, intuition, and reality.
I met a guy through work and from the beginning there was intense tension between us. We never confessed feelings directly, but there were a lot of mixed signals, staring, weird interactions, push-pull behavior, etc. The situation eventually got messy because he has a girlfriend and things escalated emotionally between all of us.
The reason I’m posting here is because I started having vivid dreams about him before major things happened. The first dream happened the night before he texted my friend about me. Then later I had another dream about him the night before he texted me. Since then I’ve been dreaming about him constantly, and the dreams feel extremely real and emotional.
Recently everything blew up. I texted him trying to get closure and it ended badly. His girlfriend messaged me accusing me of harassment and I blocked both of them afterward. Since then I’ve been trying manifestation methods:
scripting
affirmations
visualization before sleep
detachment
Part of me feels like there really is a connection between us and that he suppresses his feelings because of his relationship and image. Another part of me wonders if I’m just emotionally attached and reading into things because the situation affected me deeply.
I’m trying to figure out:
how to manifest from a calm state instead of obsession
whether I should persist or fully let go
and how to stop reacting emotionally to every little thing he does
Has anyone experienced a situation where someone acted cold/distant in reality but still ended up coming back later after detachment and self-concept work?
