1st trimester diet recommendations
My wife (37yo, 11wks) has been enjoying chocolate snacks frequently to tide her over between larger, heartier meals. We've been told to stick with bland foods when possible. She claims the chocolates are one of the only few foods that dont make her feel nauseous. Am i doing her and baby a disservice by letting her continue eating as she likes? I intended to let her be as she deals with blood sugar issues, but our Doctor recently reprimanded her for eating so many sweets and not sticking to bland or lighter snacks when possible.
