I healed my betta

My betta had fin rot very bad I tried EVERYTHING and k listened to everyone remedies on here and I really appreciate them all so so much.

Here’s what worked

#1

1 full course of Kanaplex in my betta’s tank and followed the instructions on precisely when to water change / medicate him

(Not taking him out and putting him into a quarantine tank) my first attempt of healing my betta and putting him into a quarantine tank helped heal him but not fully and he got worse once I put him back into his original tank.

When I did water change his tank I only did a 30% water change and I made sure to gravel clean the bottom of his tank and I made sure I was sucking off debris from the bottom not just lightly casting the suction hose over the top. Tbh theres a lot more gunk than what you see if you stick your hose in the substrate a little bit. And no you won’t ruin your bb by doing this unless you’re sucking to the damn bottom.

Every single water change and even to this day I boil water in a pot and then I take it off the heat once it boils and I add a cattappa leaf in there to steap. THEN I add my new tap water to a bucket and I have some PH issues so I dilute my tap water with 20% distilled water. THEN I add my almond leaf water from my pot to the tap water jn the bucket. Then I add 3 1ML of API Stress coat to the bucket water and mix it all together. Then I match temperatures of the tank and new water and I add it in and sprinkle some of the boiled leaves into his tank as well and take out the old ones!

I really hope this helps someone. I literally tried everything under the moon for my betta he was sick for four damn months with bad fin rot.

I tested my GH/KH , Nitrite & Nitrates, PH, Ammonia and everything was in normal range. Theres are no sharp decorations, no tank mates causing him stress.

I tried Methalyne blue dips, Aquarium salt baths, even added 1/4 tsp to his tank water, daily water changes and dark tannin water… None of it worked

What I did above did^^

I also had to do multiple rounds of Medication on him. I think 3 total. I did the first one Kanaplex in his quarantine tank that worked in the beginning and then he got very sick 6 weeks after and then I did another round in his quarantine tank with API fin and body cure and that worked and then his fin rot start to spread closer towards his body. And my last and final round was Kanaplex in his main tank and it worked.

And yes, he has tank mates and they were all fine and so if my tank cycle.

Anyways, I just had to spread my knowledge because I was so close to giving up after buying and doing everything and I really hope this gives someone else hope or help!

I need advice

My beta’s fins keep turning like back and aren’t shiny blue and there is no new fin growth. I dipped him in some methalyne blue two days ago and I don’t think it did much.

He had fin rot a month ago and I medicated him with API fin and body cure and I feel like he is just staying the same now. I did a few Aquariam salt baths for 15 minutes but I just don’t see a change in him and he just sits in corners of the tank chillin not as active as he was before. I have all the medicine but I don’t know what to do now ):

Ph 8.0

Nitrite, ammonia, nitrate 0ppm

Tank has been running for about 3 months now

Water change 30-50% twice a week with added tannins

Finrot?

Please help I put my betta in a hospital tank for a whole month I dosed him with kanaplex and I dosed him with API fin rot and body cure. I saw a decent change in his body from doing the API medicine but now his fin rot or whatever he has is still there. What should I do or try next?
