Casino downgrade
I booked this cruise through NCL Casinos at Pearl status and was told I would receive the associated casino perks. I was last on an NCL cruise in August and booked this trip in March. To be safe, I called NCL every week throughout July to confirm that my Pearl status and perks were still valid, and each time I was assured they were.
After boarding, I noticed that my Pearl card and complimentary water were missing. When I spoke with the casino host, I was suddenly told that I no longer had Pearl status and would not receive any of the perks I had been promised when booking.
My biggest frustration is that NCL waited until I was already on the ship to tell me this, despite my repeated calls before the cruise. Had I been given accurate information upfront, I could have made an informed decision. I still plan to enjoy my vacation, but I am extremely disappointed that I was repeatedly given incorrect information and feel misled by NCL.
