I want to know, since because of the general oppression of Native American culture by the United States government in the 19th and 20th centuries, especially with spiritual beliefs, when I see rituals or stories about spirits being told do the Navajo believe it like Christians and Muslims believe in God or is it more symbolic or to help keep their culture alive? I’m really sorry if this sounds confusing

I’ve been quite a fan of analog horror for a while now, and I know that having endings where the humans survive or win against the monster isn’t really what this genre is known for, but as would have it I stumbled upon a group of Doctor Who-inspired videos called the UNIT Archives where by the end, the entity, called the Formless, is actually defeated by the protagonists, no horrific twists, no leaving on a creepy footnote, nothing, and despite that I really enjoyed it, so I was wondering if there are any other good series or videos where the entity is actually defeated or the protagonists at least survive.
