My little one is 9 weeks old, he was born 5lbs 15oz, so they rounded him up to 6lbs because he was so close. He’s around 8lbs 7oz or so, he’s been gaining weight slowly and is still in the first percentile. He’s getting longer and head is getting bigger, just not really getting chubbier. I was at his 2 month checkup yesterday and his pediatrician said that maybe starting a high calorie formula would be better for him than me breast and bottle feeding him (pumping). I don’t really want to give him formula (I respect everyone who makes their own choices when it comes to feeding) I just want some outside perspectives if I should just do it anyways. Any advice is appreciated.
