Are big budget productions back to using red cameras for high frame rate work?
I noticed that both supergirl and spiderman: brand new day used the red raptor x for high frame rate work (as per their asc articles) where something like a phantom might've been used previously, is this because of vision research stepping back from the cinema field given they seemingly discontinued their phantom flex and other cinema focused cameras and thus putting support in jeopardy or is it more that the raptor is acceptable enough frame rate wise and it's more in line with big budget vfx-heavy workflows?
