If you remove the plastic base off the SK stackable tool box, it will fit neatly on top of the 15” side cab. I added some stainless sheet to cover the opening on the bottom to keep screws and other junk from getting trapped in there. I also bolted the SK box to the side cab.
The pictures are of my mock up on the gen 2 27” roll cab combo I have at home. The side cab will end up on my green 27” combo I have at work.
I am attempting to add the 15" end cabinet to my 27" Series 2 roll cabinet/top chest combo and was thinking about adding casters to keep it from tipping. But I'm seeing a lot of people adding the end cabinet to their 5 drawer carts without any support. I'm wondering if adding casters is a waste of time/effort since the setup will not be regularly moved and there will be no scenario where I remove the majority of tools in this setup.
My question to those that have added a single end cab to their carts: Have you had any tipping problems or stability issues with normal use?

Where can I get a hold of a 3/8” socket extension in a 7” length?
I managed to find 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 inch extensions, but I really need a 7 inch one.
