There are some ideas floating around that Doomfist could be the character available for all 3 roles, considering we already had DPS Doom and the comic did allude to a change coming "adapt or die".

I wonder if this could lead to further iterations on how he could be played

And the idea of Overwatch adding Heroes across all 3 roles was speculated before this year's Spotlight too.

If not soon, I wonder if this is the system Aaron was talking about when he said Sym may not needed changes because of what's coming in 2027

Maybe Reworks season is either season 5 due to the usual 6 monthly content calendar they use for big account drops - Spotlight in Feb and OW2/Invasion/Clash/Flashpoint type changes in October)

Or maybe we see some reveal in Blizzcon, which is followed by season 6 a month later - after Doomfist's rematch versus Vendetta to end the story arc.

I don't know if this is a hot take but aside from the Domina ult, Lifeweaver has seemed to me the best thing to come from the mode.

He actually feels like a real Hero. His shooting is unique and adds relatively more value, and his Ultimate offers utility too instead of just another heal/overhealth Support ult.

Would be nice to see this iteration be the main version of his kit.

I feel it feels a bit inconsistent, at least from somewhat of a quality of life perspective

For example, if you ult as Mizuki, it will stay when Duplicate ends, but if you're using Sigma's ult it will just end in the middle of his ult, making it a disadvantage to use ult on Sigma

Would it make sense for them to buff this part?
