It’s getting too hot now☀️
It’s that awkward time of the year in New Zealand. The mornings are still cold but the days are warming up fast. The ole waxed Carhartt gets some sun time to help re melt in the wax after a busy winter.

So I fully waxed my c26 a couple of months ago. I used straight 100% local beeswax. Nothing else. It was a bit tedious due to it not having any thinners in it, but after wearing it in its coloured up really nice. Some patches look to need a bit more wax while others seemed overdone, but after being out in the rain a few times nothing seems to soak through. It’s been on the job site as well and has handled it super well. Wood chips seem to brush off and not stick to it anymore as well as everything else I throw at it.
So after scrolling Facebook marketplace in New Zealand I found this C52 MOS October 03 Carhartt for pretty cheap. I haven’t seen one before so I was pretty happy with it after a quick clean up.
