I am experiencing things my mom never got to experience.
Food: Chicken Filet on a Croissant
Next Monday marks the 30th year since my mom passed. She was 35 when she passed, and last Monday, the 14th would have been her 65th birthday.
I am now 38 and have out-lived her.
I am starting to feel the beginning stages of perimenopause. I can't describe the grief that comes with entering a stage of life your own mother did not get to experience. It's been a rough week emotionally.
I am glad my boyfriend's mom is willing to talk with me about my health and aging. I just wish I had a mom, an aunt, or a grandma to talk to. But I am no-contact with any who still live.
