Pro Bono Career Guidance

Hello all! I run a specialized recruitment business, mainly focused on life sciences, legal, and manufacturing.

Contrary to popular belief, I’m actually paid by businesses to find people, and not the other way around. If I had a dollar for every time I was asked “help me find a job”; I may just have enough for a free month of rent in Bozeman.

Because I have spent my career working with hiring managers, I know exactly what they are looking for; from initial application(s) and resumes through to interviews and offer/acceptance. I created a career guidance program to be able to help those professionals who are serious about their careers and maximizing their chances of obtaining their dream job(s).

I love Montana and its people, and have partnered with several businesses and technology groups. I’d love to help out anyone who feels they could benefit from any quick/general guidance. Feel free to DM me and we can connect on LinkedIn or the like

Round and Round We Go - Help Ending the Vicious Cycle of RA Career Experience

The recurring theme is still there, and pessimism should not be confused with realism. There are dozens of very recent examples of how making yourself stand out to achieve your RA career goals.

Extra steps need to be taken beyond the cyclical:

"I need Regulatory Affairs experience to advance."

"But nobody will give me Regulatory Affairs experience because I don't have enough Regulatory Affairs experience."

After spending 8 years recruiting Regulatory Affairs professionals across biotech and pharma, I can tell you that most career progression hurdles are not actually caused by a lack of experience.

More often, people are:

  • Positioning their existing experience incorrectly
  • Applying for roles that are unrealistic jumps
  • Underselling transferable experience
  • Missing the specific gaps hiring managers actually care about
  • Networking with the wrong people
  • Presenting weak resumes despite having solid backgrounds

I've worked with professionals ranging from Regulatory Associates through VP-level leaders and am happy to answer questions here if I can help.

If anyone is feeling stuck and wants a more personalized assessment of their situation, feel free to send me a message. I also offer one-on-one career consultations, but no pressure...I am happy to point people in the right direction publicly when possible.

Check out the Regulatory Affairs Career Exchange group on LinkedIn.
