Cleaning after session?

Hello group, I’m pretty new to all this still and just completed my second painting yesterday. I’m not too impressed with it but that’s besides the point.

I was wondering what some of your processes are for cleaning up your area and brushes?

While I’m painting, I use a miracle solution to thin paint, but that’s all I use it for. Mid session I only clean brushes on shop towels and what not.

After the session, I soak my brushes in odorless spirits for about two or three minutes, scrape them against the screen in the bottom of the bucket, bring everything outside and beat the devil out of them on a pole in my yard. I then take the brushes inside and wash them with hot soapy water in the palm of my hand. I then allow them to dry lying flat for a day

Is this an acceptable method? On a similar note, I notice that my 1 and 2 inch brushes puff out upon drying, and my fan brushes gets wavy. Is there any way to counteract this or to manually restore their shape after drying?

Thanks for any advice!

Cooling mode or dry mode, most energy efficient?

Hello everyone, we have a Mitsubishi hyper heat pump.

We usually just leave it in cooling mode in the summer, but I have noticed over the last year or two that putting it in dry mode also does a very effective job cooling down the house.

My question is this: if we use the heat pump on cool setting set at 74 degrees using a higher fan speed, versus putting it in dry setting with a lower fan speed, which one uses the least amount of electricity?

Vevor inflatable tents any good?

I haven’t owned an inflatable tent ever, but someone suggested it in another sub, and a quick google search shows that people are generally happy with them. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Does anyone have any quality affordable blow up tents that can sleep minimum 6 people? Thanks!

Question about withdrawing during FIRE years

In short, I’m wondering what the strategy is for withdrawing money, specifically from total market ETFs or mutual funds, while one is in their fire years?

These numbers are fictional, but if my safe withdrawal rate at 4% allowed me to draw $50,000 a year, how do people generally withdraw this? Would they take $50,000 on January 1 and ride it all year?

Would they break it up into 4 quarters and take part each quarter?

Would it be advisable to wait for good market up swings and then sell portions of your funds, or is all of this just overthinking it too much? Thanks for any help you can provide!
